Barry McGuire bares all in Trippin the 60's in Australian February Tour
For the original lead singer in the hit musical "Hair" on Broadway that could send audiences running, however Barry McGuire is keeping his clothes on and instead telling all - about his musical journey through the 60's.
"Trippin' the 60's" is a whimsical musical journey with Barry. Relating humorous anecdotes of his days with all the famous bands of the 60's, he tells stories of life & times on the road, sharing with you the moments, the music & the madness of this wondrous collision of politics, history & music. Encompassing 60's icons such as the Beatles, the Byrds, Crosby Stills and Nash to Mamas and Papas & Frank Zappa, he is joined on stage by Terry Talbot from 60's band Mason Prophet. Terry is considered by Billboard magazine to be one of the world's greatest folk guitarists.
There's a classic saying - "If you can remember the 60's then you weren't really there". Barry is a great story teller and "Trippin' the 60's" is just a great musical night out for everyone who can't remember the 60's.
